Re: Highest mileage Fit EV?

Impressive indeed!
I'll bet the interior is showing signs of wear. I am seeing far fewer Fit EVs around than I used to, although I do still see them occasionally.

Re: No Honda FitEV Replacement- Will a 7th year be possible?

No one has been able to get a seventh year. It looks like the end unfortunately. The only BEV lease that is even close to the Fit EV in price is the Soul EV. The Clarity BEV is $199 (a lot less when you factor in rebates, etc.). But, they are hard to get, even in CA. It is a super nice car, if you ...

Re: 2nd set of replacement tires?

My first set was still fine at 55K when I turned the car back to Honda!

Re: Goodbye lovely EV...!

... and $1000 Honda allowance for being a Fit EV owner , Was this something automatic, or did you need to do something to get it? Our Fit is coming up on it's 5 year mark, and it may make sense to take a hard look at the Clarity before year end. I've driven the PHEV, but not yet tried the Electric....

Re: Goodbye lovely EV...!

I agree with everything jackertracker had to say about the Fit and Clarity. It was my wife who had the hardest time switching from the Fit to Clarity, even though she didn't drive it much. She thought it was cute (the Clarity, not so much), it was part of the family, and she really didn't like the ...

Re: Goodbye lovely EV...!

I turned in my Fit in December after 4-1/2 years (55K miles), also opting to move into a Clarity BEV. I loved the Fit, but it was getting a little long in the tooth and was missing a lot of tech, safety features, and creature comforts that are readily available these days. The novelty had worn off a...

Re: Lease Extended for Another Year (Original Owner)

Thanks for the heads up. I'm pretty sure that is in my coverage, but it won't hurt to check. I had to have the FitEV windshield replaced at one point. That was the first windshield I'd replaced since the 1980's.

Re: Lease Extended for Another Year (Original Owner)

I turned in my FitEV just before Christmas for a new Clarity BEV and haven't looked back. It is fantastic and, as much as I liked the Fit, is 10 times the car. Much bigger (mid-size) and more comfortable, lots of technology, safer, and even a little better range. TOTAL amortized monthly cost, includ...

Re: Clarity EV free (fast) charging?

I have read quite a bit about the car and received numerous invites for a test drive, as I'm sure all of us have. I have heard nothing about free fast charging, insurance, etc. Looks like a fine car, but Honda obviously misjudged badly with the range on this car. I think they will have to pony up a ...
