Saw this article today:

None other than one of our members, blownb310! Very cool, Mike--it's great to see our cars out there getting some media attention.

Thanks jackertracker. :)

That was a lot of fun and should tap into an audience that may not have had EV's on their radar before.

Car people are interested. I took Fit EV #9 to a car show and more people were asking questions about it than any other vehicle there. It is up to you to educate others. What fun it is!

super cool! i raced a camaro up a hill yesterday, he totally had me off the line but by the 2nd corner i was well ahead. the fit ev handles surprisingly well. it's no s2000, but it's still pretty good for what is running on those small, low friction tires.

Great article Mike!!! You're definitely getting the word out that EVs aren't just for grandmom and grandpop but a fun car not only to drive but even to race!!!

By the way they do electric drag racing here in Hagerstown, Maryland every year sponsored by the National Electric Drag Racing. People come from all over. They also do autocross that same weekend. I think it started in 2001 but for some reason this is the first year they missed.

Thank you Diane and the Hagerstown events sound like fun. I plan to enter an ice autocross with my FEV in Feb [when we get the required 12" of ice on the lakes here]. Should be fun. I'll make sure to get some pictures.

I've never seen anything like that. I'm looking forward to the pictures. It must be a blast!!! I'd love to be there in person.

Thanks, I'll be going back in late spring to lower the ET record for FEV's some more. I'm going to try some lower profile tires to see if I can get it to launch a bit harder. The Spark EV's have much better 60' times.
