I've put on over 7,000 miles since I got my car 8/9/2014 - the car was leased for a year previously - and had only 4700 on it....I blasted over that pretty fast.

darn, we are only at 27,360. the car is still rock solid, unlike the fiat 500e which has gotten very "wobblie" in its 10,000 miles of use.

I probably have the record for the fewest miles...about 9000. At the end of January, I will pass the 2 year mark.
Re: lease extension; This is discussed in another thread. Most early leasers, including me, got an Email inquiry from Honda asking if we were interested in extending the lease for 2 years. I said yes, and offered to get down on my knees and beg if that would help.

I am now at a little over 12K, four moths from the end of the lease. Still no word from Honda on lease extension.

I'm about to hit 30K, lease ends in less than two months, also no word from Honda yet. Haven't decided whether to extend yet or not. I'm sure I will miss the car if I do not extend, but I am very tempted by the deals on the 2015 e-Golf, which has fast charge, far better winter range (heat pump, battery less sensitive to cold), and is quite a bit larger, especially the cargo area. Usually cargo size doesn't matter, but when we have four people in the car, it is often a problem. Sorry, straying from the topic a bit :-).

Please let us know what happens with Honda on the lease if you decide to extend.

Not sure if you saw this, but apparently you're supposed to go on the Honda website where there is info regarding extending the lease.
