If they would do $299/mo for 11k mi/yr, I'd upgrade to the MB. Maybe it is because the 2015 MB is coming out soon?

Mileage penalty is $.20, so 3500 mi/yr = $700, so equal to $297/month ($239+$58)

Gonna cost more to operate (slightly less efficient, no free maintenance & insurance), but a much more refined car than the Fit. They committed to a bunch of 2014's and 2015's, so want to keep them moving.

I leased my car a little later than you guys who got the letter, but I sure hope they offer it to me.
I would love to extend for two years! In fact, if I don't hear from them in the next couple days, I am going to contact them and get down on my knees and beg for an extension!

Correction to above. I just got the one-question survey.
I answered YES and told them I would get down on my knees and beg if that would help.

Honda needs to implement a loyalty program for the early drivers. Nissan did it for the early LEAF customers, Honda needs to do the same. Depending on what that looks like, we might extend the lease.

What was the loyalty program offer for early LEAF customer?

I got mine over two years ago, when the lease price was still $389/mo. I think those of us in that camp deserve some extra special early-adopter treatment :-).

(Still haven't gotten the email)

No survey for me yet either. I’m guessing they have my vote ;)

I personally think the current lease terms are a smokin' hot deal, even for a 4th / 5th year lease. I’m assuming that if something substantial goes wrong with the car, Honda would allow the lease to terminate without penalty or expectation as they currently seem to be doing.

Re; consideration for being an early adopter, I’d like a ~3ish year lease extension that lets me be the last one to turn it in. :D

I agree. They don't need to sweeten the deal for me.

I generally agree it's a sweet deal. After all, I was willing to pay $389!

At least so far, I'm not seeing any range degradation -- that's really the only thing that would give me pause. Our leaf is down 20% in range in 3 years.

I'll probably need to buy tires in year 4 or 5 though, so if nothing else, that would increase the effective monthly cost by a small bit. Also, I'd be amortizing the $2500 CA rebate across 5 years instead of 3. That is, if I were to lease something else like the MB, I could get another $2500 rebate, so that extra $70 per month also needs to be taken into account.
