If your service paperwork lists a TSB or some ID for the February update, could you post it?

I would first put a volt meter on the 12V battery and find out what the surface voltage is before doing anything else. It seems like nine times out of ten the 12V battery went flat when an EV won't 'start'.
I think we all knew from the first post that it was going to need a simple 12V battery. We should all be thankful that our cars don't have real electrical shortcomings like too many of the 500e drivers have to deal with. In defense of the dealer though, I have seen many suspect 12V batteries recharge and pass the load test, only to fail shortly thereafter. They can intermittently test good and can drive technicians nuts. I know this first hand.

Not so simple, dead again, third time towed into the shop.

Incredibly frustrating, used the car every day this week and the weather has been warm.

No warning, no lights, dead in garage again.

Three tries without fixing it is grounds for the Lemon law?

Missed work, now I need to lose half a day with the tow, I won't hold my breath that I'm getting a loaner car for the weekend. With the long weekend I won't see my car back for more than a week probably.

Mr. Grim, can you tell us what solved this problem please? The more details the better. :)
