We've had the issue before but now it's becoming more frequent where I have to 'jump' the 12v to 'start' the car. I'm thinking after about 2 years in service the battery is end of life. Doe the warranty cover a replacement?

There isn't anything that the warranty doesn't cover from what I've read. Honda owns these cars and they will fix them if a part fails or even wears out.

I was having 12 volt battery issues last month (2+ years of use) and knew I could head to the dealer and get it resolved. I choose to do it myself because I didn't have time to deal with a dealership that is not very helpful with the Fit EV program.

Sure I could have taken it in and left it with the service department after telling the story of having to jump it, charge it, dash lights up like a christmas tree, etc. and then hope they don't charge me for an overpriced battery claiming it was a 'customer responsible wear item' as unlikely as that may have been. Not to mention being without the little blue workhorse while it sits at the dealer for a day or so till they figured it out and got a battery for it.

I solved my issue in about 30 minutes total including the trips to the store to get the 12 volt battery and then return the old for a core fee. For me it was worth it to just fix it myself and get back to my activities. For me it was worth it to avoid the dealership aggravation, your mileage may vary.

Heck, my local dealership even refuses to charge customer's Fit EVs with their dealership Leviton EVSE and my favorite service writer who new the Fit EV program recently left the dealership. Just didn't feel like being the trainer again ...

On another thread someone pointed out that on the back of your lease agreement it does say that the leasor (Honda) covers the cost of all repairs within normal wear and tear for the leasee (you). I looked myself and found it in the upper left-hand corner. From now on, i plan on taking the lease agreement with me whenever i need anything repaired or replaced in-case i run into any difficulties.

At 49th month mark, my 12V battery died. Given its a 3-5 year life, its not surprising. The battery died after I installed 2017 Navi update due to installation time.
Local FitEV dealer where I bought car says that new battery is my responsibility bc mainentance such as this was only covered through first 36 months of the lease not the extension.
Paid $140 for AAA to deliver and install new one.
Anyone else have any battery issues?

Yes it's quite common and not covered after the warranty expires. You're not alone. :)

The 12v battery is partially covered by Honda.

@Boyo your dealership is 100% wrong. You should be reimbursed 50% of the cost of the battery based on the limited 12v battery warranty.

Unfortunately, as I found out today, there are a couple of key words in there that make this useless if you still have your original battery. This is only for "replacement 12-volt batteries purchased from a Honda automobile dealer in the United States". So this does not apply to the original 12v. Only if you later bought a replacement one from a Honda dealer.
